What would I do all day?
As a Senior Software Engineer at Seatti, you'll take the lead in designing and building scalable backend systems that power our dynamic workplace engagement platform. While your primary focus will be on backend development, you'll also contribute to our React-based frontend to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Designing and implementing robust backend services with a focus on performance, maintainability, and scalability.
Contributing to frontend development where needed, ensuring the backend and frontend integrate smoothly.
Collaborating with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Driving architecture decisions and continuously improving our engineering processes.
Conducting code reviews, assuring quality of deliveries and promoting engineering excellence within the team.
Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and proactively addressing potential bottlenecks.

Who exactly are you looking for?
Good question! Generally, we know we’ve found a great match with you if you recognise yourself in most of these points:
- You enjoy working with Typescript, React, GraphQL
- You have industry-level knowledge of HTML5/CSS
- You’ve gained experience working with GraphQL / REST APIs, SQL databases
- You are fit in software design patterns & architecture and clean code practices
- You have an advanced understanding in unit, component & E2E tests (Cypress / Playwright)
- You have solid experience with various types of API integrations
- You have a working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- You can and want to take responsibility & ownership and have a liking for creative problem solving

Our Interview Process - quick and easy
You don't need to write a long application. Just send us your CV and 3-4 sentences about yourself.
- A relaxed first up to 45 minute get-to-know-you conversation with the hiring manager, you can get your first questions out and we'll get to know you a little better.
- Tech Assessment: We don’t want to add a lot of work load, but in this assessment we’ll check your tech skills and knowledge.
- If all goes well and we all like each other, the final step is a short interview with a couple of team members, so that you can see who you'll be working with.
